A little personal life lesson…..what you are looking at is far more than a bowl of terrible spaghetti and meatballs. @janiebeanz, my kids and I were eating dinner outside Zion National Park, at some place that got “good reviews” and I got this bowl of laughable spaghetti. At first, I was annoyed that it was a terrible dinner that wasn’t cheap, and that my all day hiking hunger wasn’t being satisfied, but then I realized, that I’m sitting there with the most important people in my life, having a good time and laughing about how terrible this spaghetti is. For the next 30 minutes, all we talked and joked about was how wrong and awful this dish was. Don’t concentrate on the superficial things in life and look beneath the surface, you’ll realize that on the contrary, these terrible experiences are actually some of your best life stories. Embrace your “bad spaghetti” moments and enjoy the good times they bring you. The best kind of fun in life is the type that makes you miserable while you’re doing it, but you remember and talk about it for the rest of your life.
